Strategic/Comprehensive Plans

Since 1988, the Village of Addison has periodically involved many segments of the community in order to set a list of long-term goals to guide the elected officials and staff in determining the course of the Village. These long-term goals, or visions for Addison, become the Strategic Plan.

In 2012, the Village of Addison worked with the Chicago Agency for Metropolitan Planning (CMAP) to compile a new Comprehensive Plan for the Village. Input was sought from many sectors of the community to create a vision for Addison for the next 10 to 20 years.

The final plan was adopted by the Village Board on January 7, 2013.
