Any party that violates, neglects or refuses to comply with or resists the enforcement of any provision of the Zoning Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $50 for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist may constitute a separate offense.

Zoning: Definition and Purpose

Homeowners' Role in Zoning

Effective zoning depends on the support of the citizens of the community and an understanding of the local zoning regulations. While some will resist zoning on the basis that it restricts what is allowed on private property, few will fail to recognize that zoning is essentially important to the quality of the community.
