7TH ANNUAL ‘SHAPE OF ADDISON’ TOWN HALL MEETING TO BE HELD
Governmental Leaders to Give Updates, Answer Residents’ Questions
Board presidents from Addison’s six main taxing bodies will gather together to update the community on the “Shape of Addison” Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall Board Room, 1 Friendship Plaza.
Itasca Bank & Trust sponsors and moderates the 7th annual meeting to update residents on projects and goals, and answer questions and concerns during the 2-hour forum. The public is invited to attend, or may watch the live broadcast on Addison Community Television.
Representing the agencies will be: Rich Veenstra, mayor of the Village of Addison; Michael Super, board president of the Addison Fire Protection District; Jay Irvin, vice president of DuPage High School District 88 Board of Education; Dave Williams, president of Addison School District 4 Board of Education; Tina Towns, board president of the Addison Park District; and Lisa Knauf, board president of the Addison Public Library.
Each representative will make a brief presentation about the recent accomplishments and projects of their agency. This will be followed by questions from the public.
Audience members will be asked to submit questions in writing. Television viewers may submit questions before or during the broadcast to ShapeofAddison@AddisonAdvantage.org, or may call in questions to 630-693-7975 during the broadcast only.
