Collins/Fullerton Avenue Road Construction

The Fullerton Avenue Road Resurfacing Project will begin the week of July 15. The limits of the work are from Swift Road on the west side of town to Addison Road on the east side of town with Rohlwing Road excluded. Prior to patching and resurfacing of the road, the contractor will begin with curb and gutter replacement along with the installation of various storm sewer improvements. Additionally, public walk will be replaced at all intersections for required ADA compliance. The entire project is expected to be completed by the middle of November, depending on weather conditions.

Temporary lane closures will be in place and may change daily, so please drive cautiously through the construction zone. Electronic message boards are in place along the project cautioning drivers and advising motorists of the work.

The Fullerton Avenue Road Resurfacing Project is being funded in part by IDOT, which has contracted with R.W. Dunteman to complete the work.
