The
Addison Park District Board of Commissioners and Park District staff anxiously
await the start of many fun-filled, action-packed activities, special events,
and programs that are planned for the upcoming season. Your park board believes
that Addison deserves the best: the best parks, the best programs, the best
service.
The Addison Park District dedicates itself to
providing the highest quality park system with our 24 parks, recreational
facilities, and related social programs for all ages and cultural origins. Check
out our many entities: Club Fitness, Links & Tees Golf Facility, Community Fitness Center, Senior
Leisure Center and Family Aquatic Center.
There are exciting trips planned for
children, adults and seniors, which include cultural visits, sport outings,
theatre, shopping, and more. Take the time to acquaint yourself with the
programs so you can make the most out of your nights, vacation, holidays and
weekends of leisure.
Club Fitness, a 44,000 square foot
state-of-the-art fitness facility is the newest addition to the Addison community. We look forward to making
Addison a healthier community – one member at a
time. For more information on membership, please call 889-2150.
Addison residents have a year round golfer’s
haven right in their own backyards! Links & Tees Golf Facility, is now home to a
9-hole par 3 golf course, Putter’s Peak Adventure Miniature Golf and a fabulous
outdoor practice range. During the winter months you can enjoy practicing your
shot at the indoor golf dome. Birthday party packages and group golf outings,
golf lessons and golf leagues are also available. For more information on Links
& Tees, please call 458-2660.
Interested in attending a Park District Board
Meeting? The Park District Board of Commissioner meets on the fourth Monday of
each month at 8 p.m. at the Community Recreation Center, 120 East Oak
Street. The Park District Board is made up of five elected Addison residents who serve six-year terms. The Board of Commissioners welcomes
the public to attend these meetings. For further information please call
833-0100.
Those with special needs need not travel
outside the community, because Addison’s Centennial Park is home to the Northeast
DuPage Special Recreation Association (NEDSRA),
a cooperative effort of which the Addison Park District is a proud participant.
