Profile: Employed by the Village of Addison as a part-time assistant in 1965, and full-time starting in 1969 as Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator, Lead Operator, Foreman and Assistant Superintendent, Director of Environmental Services and presently Director of Public Works. Received specialized training in wastewater operations through College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and the universities of Southern Illinois, Wisconsin and Toledo. Certified as a Class One Wastewater Operator in the State of Illinois. Professional associations include Illinois Association of Water Pollution Control Operators (Past-President), Illinois Water Environmental Association (Past-President), Water Environment Federation (Director), Central States Water Environment Association, American Public Works Association and Fox Valley Operators Association. Serves as Chairman and Northeast Sectional Representative on the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Operator Board of Certification. Recipient of the United States Environmental Protection Agency Operation and Maintenance Excellence Award in 1995 and the Water Environment Federation’s William D.
