Profile: Appointed by the Mayor, and confirmed by the Board of Trustees, to the position of Chief of Police in July 2003. Joined the Addison Police Department in 1978, rising through the ranks to be appointed Deputy Chief in 1990.  Graduate of the 170th session of the FBI National Police Academy in 1992 and of the School of Police Staff and Command from Northwestern University.
