How Do I Apply for a Position?
Aside from posting job opportunities on the Internet, the
Village will also announce vacancies via the following: newspapers (i.e., the
Addison Press and the Daily Herald), local cable access television (Channel 19), and postings
on the bulletin board located on the lower level of
the Village Hall.
People interested in applying for employment with the Village
have many options from which to choose, as the following illustrates:
1. In Person
Applicants can apply for Village employment by coming to the Village
Hall and picking up an application form from the information desk located on the
lower level of the Village Hall. Applicants can also obtain a form in the
Administration Office. Applications can be filled out there or brought home and
returned at a later date, to:

The Human Resources Division does not administer the
application/testing process for patrol officers. The process is governed under
the rules developed by the Addison Board of Police Commissioners. Said
Commission oversees the recruitment and selection of patrol officers.
