Having built its first school house in 1880, the Village of Addison has a long and storied tradition of excellent academics. Today, the village has seven public elementary schools, a junior high school and two high schools. 

In addition, a branch of the College of DuPage is located in Addison, as is Technology Center of DuPage and DeVry University.  Addison Elementary School District 4 works diligently to ensure that its students are prepared for the 21st century, especially in the area of technology.  From public to private schools, Addison has the best education there is to offer.
