VILLAGE CODE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
Residents May Search Through Ordinances From Home
Residents wondering about Village of Addison requirements on
everything from pets to property maintenance now have the ability to search
through Village ordinances right from their home computer.
Addison’s Village Code is now available online through the Village website,
AddisonAdvantage.org. Visitors to the site may browse through ordinances by
chapter, or can search through the code using keywords, such as “noise
ordinance” or “sump pump discharge” to see where items are mentioned in the
Code. This search engine works exclusively within the Village Code, and does not
retrieve references elsewhere in the Village website.
“Over the past year or so, this has been requested more and more often” said
Village Manager Joe Block. “I think it will be a very useful tool for our
