ADDISON DELEGATION DEPARTS FOR SISTER CITY

Mayor, Trustees, Residents to Visit Triggiano, Italy for Signing of Sister City Resolution

Mayor Larry Hartwig, Village Clerk Lucille Zucchero, Village Trustees Harry Theodore and Richard Veenstra, along with residents of the community, will depart the Addison Village Hall Friday, September 19 for a visit to Triggiano, Italy for the signing of the resolution to officially proclaim the Village of Addison and the City of Triggiano as Sister Cities.

Prior to their 12 noon departure from Village Hall, One Friendship Plaza, an official send off will be held in the Rotunda at 11 a.m., featuring performances by the Driscoll Catholic High School Band and Chorus, and remarks by Mayor Larry Hartwig; State Representative Lee Daniels is tentatively scheduled to speak.

The delegation will be in Triggiano during the Festival of Saint Mary, an annual holy holiday. Following four days in Triggiano, they will continue on for a tour throughout Italy. The trip is paid for by the City of Triggiano and the participants.
