ADDISON BY THE SLICE SERVES UP BEST PIZZA IN TOWN

On August 6 bragging rights will be up for grabs as seven different Addison restaurants compete in "Addison By The Slice" the first ever Village of Addison Pizza Bakeoff. Located on the Village Greens, residents will be able to taste $1.00 samples from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Beverages will also be available for $1.00. 

The most coveted award is up to the residents to decide. The People's Choice Award will be given to the restaurant receiving the most votes from residents during the 6:00 to 7:30 voting period. The winner will be announced during the intermission of the concert in the park featuring the Limited Edition Big Band. Other awards to be handed out include best crust, best sausage, and more. 

The event also coincides with National Night Out. Representatives from the Addison Police Department will be present to hand out lots of great information. The concert in the park will begin at 7:30 and will go to 9:00. Seating will be limited so residents are asked to please bring their own chairs.

Fresh out of the oven "Addison By The Slice" is prepared to give your taste buds a night of pizza delight for the first time.
