VILLAGE, ROTARY CLUB TEAM UP FOR MONTHLY JOB FAIR
Local Businesses Bring Job Opportunities to Village Hall
In a continuing effort to build partnerships between the Village of Addison and the business community, the Village has announced a monthly opportunity to connect job seekers with employment openings in Addison.
In partnership with the Rotary Club of Addison, the Village will host a monthly Job Fair on the last Wednesday of each month in the Village Hall rotunda. Up to 10 businesses will have representatives on hand to accept applications, review resumes and talk with potential candidates. In addition, information regarding classes valuable to job seekers will be available from representatives from College of DuPage - Addison Center and DeVry University.
"This project will link our business community with those persons seeking jobs," said Mayor Larry Hartwig. "We appreciate the Rotary Club's assistance in providing what we believe will be a valuable service to our residents and local businesses."
The first Job Fair will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2004 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Village Hall rotunda, One Friendship Plaza.
