FARMERS MARKET CONTINUES ON FRIENDSHIP PLAZA

Wider Variety Offered by New Vendors

The second year of the Village of Addison’s Farmers Market has begun, and visitors can enjoy an even wider variety than last year.  The Farmers Market is held every Sunday morning, beginning at 7:30 a.m., on Friendship Plaza in front of Village Hall (southeast corner of Lake Street and Kennedy Drive.)

“In addition to the fruits and vegetables, we have added vendors that offer bread, cheese and even chocolate,” said Special Events Coordinator Angelo Sorce.

Vendors include:

bulletMcIntosh Orchards – fruits & berries, maple syrup, cut flowers, cheese
bulletAll Alaska Seafood Co. – Alaskan Salmon and artisan cheeses
bulletJeffrey Farms – Southern Illinois vegetables
bulletUncle’s Gourmet Bake Shop – Italian pastries, cookies, cakes
bulletBreadsmith – European bread
bulletCountry Fresh Flowers
bulletLuLu’s Chocolates – handmade, gourmet treats
bulletAlso: potted perennials, artisans & more
