Home | Support Services Division Support Services Division In order to fulfill the duties of the Chief of Police, the Addison Police Department has been organized into two primary Divisions, they are the Field Services Division and the Support Services Division. These two divisions are subdivided into smaller sections and/or shifts as are appropriate. Each Division is lead by a Deputy Chief of Police who works under the direction of the Chief of Police and in general, coordinates the activities of their respective divisions. The Support Services Division is divided into five sections. They are: Planning, Research, Development, Training, and Grantsmanship Unit, Criminal Investigations, Property/Evidence, Code Enforcement, Communications, and Records Management.
